Men And Women 40 And Older: Listen Up The Millennials Are Leaving Us Behind

fit over 40 female and male

We started this fitness revolution and now the millennials are leaving us behind with their online programs, bodyweight exercises, and cross fit.
We physically are not able to work out as we did in our 20s.
We work out differently and for different reasons.

It’s not all about vanity. Do we still like to look good in our jeans and not have our belly hang over our pants.? Sure. But being ripped with abs and big muscles is not our main priority. Our priority is we want to be healthy, have the energy to work, and keep up with the kids or grandkids. We want to know that we are staying in shape to stay away from the doctor’s medications they like to prescribe. We want to keep our independence down the road.

Where is the program for me, a person in my 40s, 50s,60s, or older? How can a female get fit who is over 40? I have some physical issues, maybe a new knee. A bad shoulder, my lower back is tight in the morning, and when I sit at work or play golf.

So, what do I do?

Who can I turn to who understands me?
A person who understands I work out for different reasons. Someone who understands that it’s not about vanity, it’s about longevity.
Good news, you are talking to him right now.

Chris Ownbey, a 50-year-old personal trainer. I specialize in 30-minute workouts for men and women 40 and older who are looking to get back in shape or just to try something new. So, let’s get fit over 40 whether you are male or female.
